John Papazian

John was the President and Principal Broker of Haiku Properties. He founded Haiku Properties in the late seventies when he moved to Maui after graduating with honors from Stanford University. Rather than return for law school, he chose to make Maui his home and real estate investment and development his work. He met his German wife on Maui while she was vacationing, and managed to convince her (after a few years back and forth) to stay on Maui and raise a family. John enjoyed many hobbies including tennis and was a true film buff; above all though, he loved spending time with his family in the idyllic landscapes of Maui.

Diana Papazian

Diana took over as President and Principal Broker of Haiku Properties in 2023 after her dad passed. Committed to honoring his legacy, she brokered nearly $17m in sales in the first year and half after he passed. In 2025, Diana founded Papazian Properties LLC and serves as Principal Broker. She was born and raised on Maui, attended New York University and then moved to and studied in Europe, enjoying the benefits of her dual citizen status. Upon her return to the states, Diana got her real estate license and joined her dad’s business. Since then, she spent time in Vancouver, BC and Los Angeles managing investment projects off island and engaging in brokerage and development enterprises on Maui. Like her dad, Diana has a profound appreciation for the spectacular beauty and blissful lifestyle possible on Maui.

Michael Hunt

Michael, a local to Northern California, graduated from Humboldt State University.  His love for the outdoors and laid back lifestyle brought him to Maui in 2012.  After building and remodeling homes for 5 years he joined Haiku Properties in 2017 and continued with Papazian Properties LLC in 2025. His eye for detail and knowledge of construction has been an asset to his career in real estate.  Michael now splits his time between Maui and California where he is also a licensed agent.
